Excursion to Erice and Segesta

Erice is a wonderful medieval village where time seems to stand still. One breathes an air of peace and quiet, silence resounds through the streets of the village and it is the ideal place to escape to on hot summer days and to relax.
Small and authentic, Erice is a labyrinth of narrow streets that run between churches, squares and courtyards, enticing its visitors to discover its hidden stories and legends. Its belvedere over Trapani offers breathtaking views.

If you want to step back in time to an even more distant era, then a visit to the Segesta Archaeological Park is a must. It is a magical place where stories, legends, myths and temples come together to offer unforgettable emotions. There are 12 sites within the park, but surely the most famous are the Theatre, currently in use and where many events and performances are organised, and the Doric Temple, which has never been completed.

• 08:00 a.m./ 09:30 a.m. Breakfast at our facility;
• 10:00 a.m. departure for a guided tour of Erice Vetta, with a walk through the alleyways of the picturesque medieval village and tasting of traditional Erice sweets, such as genovesi or almond biscuits;
• 1:00 p.m. return to Trapani and fish lunch in a restaurant overlooking the sea in front of San Giuliano beach;
• 3:00 p.m. Departure for Segesta, where it will be possible to visit the amphitheatre and temple dating from the Hellenic period;
• 7.00 p.m. Return to Trapani;
• 8:30 p.m. Dinner in a typical restaurant in the historic centre.
